Chris W3CMP will be qrv from Haiti as HH4/W3CMP

A team consisting of EA5BZ, EA5CEE, EA6DD, EA5HPX, EB5BBM, F5VLY, EA1ACP, EA5FX, EA7FTR and EB7DX will be on the air from Coloane Island, Macau May 17-23, 2012.

This mostly Spanish team will be active from 6 to 160 meters (including the WARC bands) on CW, SSB and RTTY. At least three stations will be on continuously on three different bands. Team Leader, Ruben Navarro, has had his hands full with preparations for this exciting DXpedition and has EA1DVY, EA3HCJ and EA5IK to thank for much needed assistance.

Macau, along with Hong Kong, is one of two special administrative regions of The People’s Republic of China. It faces Guangdong Province to the north and the South China Sea to the east and south.

Al, VE1AWW, is once again active as CY0/VE1AWW as of April 17th, and will be there for the next three months. He is an assigned worker on the island and his schedule is 3 months ON and 3 Months OFF. His activity will be limited to his spare time. Al mentions on QRZ.com, “I need to replace the feedline for the the 40/80m antenna, but up and running on 20/17/15/12/10 and 6m.” He was heard this past week on 15 meters SSB – 21336 kHz between 2230-0000z. QSL via his home callsign, direct or by the Bureau.
